Dr. Billy McClain is the president and founder of
Shining Light Ministries in Mission, Texas.
Shining Light ministries has several fields of
service: Establishing Churches in Latin America,
Shining Light Christian Academy, Youth Camps,
Temporary Housing for missionaries, Helping
Hand food ministry, Youth Ranch, and Printing
Outreach. The printing ministry of Shining Light
Ministry recently added Iraq, to it's list of 28
countries that they have translated, printed and
shipped Bibles to. | A word from our founder:
“I am humbled as I pause to reflect on God’s work at Shining Light Ministries. His blessings on our ministry have
always exceeded our expectations. Since the beginning of Shining Light in 1988, we have taken in youth with
problems, responded to the hopeless conditions of hungry and needy families in our community, and enlisted the help
of mission churches in our work. We continue to “plant” churches while expanding our compassionate ministry to
women in prison and our transformational ministry to ex-prisoners. I daily thank God for our faithful friends who pray
for us, who share their presence with us through volunteer service, and who share their provisions with us through
their financial support. Together we honor God whenever we serve the least of these among us.” Dr. McClain |
